Kedarnath Yatra safety boost as relief camps and strict horse mule rules roll out

Handlers are now mandatory for every horse and mule

Rudraprayag administration has ramped up safety preparations for the Kedarnath Yatra by deploying sector officers and setting up relief camps along the route. The plan includes medical points, seating, and continuous monitoring to manage crowds and emergencies. Notably, handlers are mandatory for horses and mules used during the pilgrimage. The Char Dham Yatra started on April 19.
