IAF launches Mehar Baba competition for indigenous drone swarm radar to track targets in contested zones

The Indian Air Force has invited domestic industry, academia and startups to develop a collaborative, indigenous drone-swarm surveillance radar system under the Mehar Baba Competition. The goal is a mobile, flexible radar network that can detect and track aerial targets in contested environments, with greater survivability than conventional fixed radar setups.
