Counting under heavy security across five states as EC deploys three tier cordon

A three tier cordon and CAPF units are already posted

With assembly votes in five states—West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry—awaiting results, the Election Commission has intensified security around counting centres. Authorities have put in place a three-tier cordon, deployed CAPF companies, and expanded surveillance with CCTVs to keep counting uninterrupted and transparent as final tallies are prepared.
